Where does she get this stuff!
Last night, in effort to make Addy want to go to bed, we made her watch TV with us. When a commercial for a restaurant made reference to chicken pot pie, somehow Addy heard, "chicken butt," which made her giggle. While we were laughing along with her and telling her how silly she is, she says, "Awkward!" In her best valley girl voice. Both Alex and I looked at each other and cracked up, asking each other at the same time, did you teach her that!? No idea where she got it, but it was hilarious!

Oh I think I know. Maddox has been doing the exact same thing and even taught his little SISTER to say it! It's from that Nabi commercial where the kindle fire doesn't respond to his wake-up song. "Awwwkward"
ReplyDeleteJust realized I had comments!. Yes, Alex discovered the source in the Nabi commercial. Funny that Maddox and Sophie are doing it too! Lucky for me Miles is not picking it up.
